Buttercross Theatre Productions Presents A Midsummer Night's Dream

This popular comedy by Shakespeare, focuses around magical mischief in the woods outside Athens as the King and Queen of the fairies cross paths whilst waiting to attend Duke Theseus’s wedding to Hippolyta. Add to this some run away lovers, rehearsals for a play to be performed at the duke’s wedding and an ass and you have the ingredients for a delightful evening of fun.

An outdoor production on the beautiful Cogges Manor lawn - the perfect stage for open-air theatre. Doors open at 5.30pm giving you time to settle before the show starts at 6.30pm.

  • Please bring a low-back chair or blanket to sit on and dress for the weather!
  • Picnics are available to pre-order with your tickets or bring your own
  • Bar with snacks and ice cream

Ticket prices are £12 for adults (age 15+), £8 for children (U15) and £36 for a family (2 adults & 2 children).
