Garden Opening at Asthall Manor in Aid of The Oxford Samaritans

Ashall Manor by Ekkehard Altenburger

A special Garden opening at Asthall Manor in aid of The Oxford Samaritans to celebrate our 60th anniversary.

Asthall’s dreamy Gardens, designed by Isabel and Julian Bannerman in 1997 and constantly evolving, are considered one of the finest in the Cotswolds. They present a beguiling blend of traditional and contemporary, English and exotic.

Oxford Samaritans first opened in 1963. Now with around 170 volunteers in an average month we spend 800 hours on the phone, answering 2,500 phone calls. We are open 24 hours a day to provide confidential emotional support to anyone who may be experiencing feelings of distress or despair; including those that may lead to suicide.

Samaritans volunteers come from all backgrounds and all walks of life and offer their time to support those facing a tough time. We’re proud to have such dedicated volunteers and supporters! “

All donations will go directly to the charity.
