Sally Gilson created GetCatCrazy in 2018 after rescuing 15+ unwanted cats in Tamworth, Staffordshire. A lot of charities were full to capacity so Sally took it upon herself to give these abandoned cats a better quality of life. Many were not in good health and as vet fees would have been costly, Sally did a lot of independent research. This involved a lot of learning about cat health and their needs via internet and books. After a lot of reading and working out what was needed GetCatCrazy was formed.

A lot of cat care information and advice can be found on the catnpet.co.uk blog system, and also Youtube - getcatcrazy which links to the articles and products. The articles are short and to the point and the videos are only a minute long, giving the information required instantly. This information can save owners money from unnecessary vet visits and expensive medication.

From extensive research, products for cat health and wellbeing were sourced to go onto the site, then sent directly from supplier to the customer, giving the pet owner piece of mind. In many cases, as with humans, the food eaten and sometimes the extra vitamins and minerals make a major difference to overall health.

Sally has a close affiliation with Sunshine Cat Rescue and sponsors their calendar yearly. She also actively supports many other animal charities, all of which are listed on the catnpet website. She also encourages responsible pet ownership and the importance of chipping and neutering.

Getcatcrazy brings the latest animal news and humour on all their social media platforms from Twitter, Facebook, Instragram and Pinterest to keep pet owners updated and well informed.

In a nutshell, Getcatcrazy gives the pet owner a one stop shop covering cat health and needs, products, pet friendly holidays, catteries, kennels, and how to donate to a favourite pet charity, all at the touch of a button.
