To mark this milestone, the restaurant is hosting a BIG BIRTHDAY BURRITO GIVEAWAY on Friday 10th March. Hundreds of lucky burrito fans will have the chance to find a golden envelope at iconic landmarks throughout the city, each containing a voucher for a free burrito.

Since opening its doors in 2008 as The Mission Mexican Grill on St Michael’s Street, Cornmarket, Mission Burrito has been serving fresh & delicious Mexican flavours to its customers. Excited to celebrate with you, owners Jan and Sharon are thrilled to have come this far “I remember opening day. There was so much excitement around Oxford that burritos were coming to town. We had a huge queue of people along St Michael’s Street wanting to get the first bite! Since then, we’ve opened further restaurants in Reading, Bath, and Bristol; built the longest ever burrito measuring 77ft; rolled millions of burritos, and catered at weddings, University Balls and various corporate events. Not to mention, surviving a recession and global pandemic!" said Jan Rasmussen.
