Gruffalo

We’re pleased to announce that this year’s Christmas show at The Mill Arts Centre is family favourite The Gruffalo!

Join Mouse on a daring adventure through the deep, dark wood in Tall Stories’ magical, musical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

Searching for hazelnuts, Mouse meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the high-spirited Snake. Will the story of the terrifying Gruffalo save Mouse from ending up as dinner for these hungry woodland creatures? After all, there’s no such thing as a Gruffalo – is there?

Based off The Gruffalo picture book, winner of the Nestle Smarties Book Prize Gold Award and voted the UK’s favourite bedtime story by BBC Radio 2 listeners, this smash hit show uses physical storytelling combined with original songs to create a lively theatrical experience that embraces its audience

All performances will be relaxed and performed by a company of deaf and hearing actors using spoken English, visual storytelling and BSL to ensure that all can enjoy this magical tale.

Catch this fantastic family show at The Mill Arts Centre in Banbury from Wednesday 7th – Sunday 18th December 2022.

Tickets are £15.50 each or £14 each for groups of 4+.

Tickets can be purchased online on our website, in person at our Box Office, or by contacting our Box Office team on 01295 279002 or boxoffice@themillartscentre.co.uk
